Residents took a cab to the airport. More of them booked the ride home.
MyGate brought Quick Ride's airport cabs into an app residents already opened every day. The job was turning a one-off ride into a repeat habit, inside a product built for gate approvals.
The app
MyGate, the community app residents use for gate approvals and society services.
The partner
Quick Ride, offering airport cab pickups inside MyGate.
The gap
Most residents used the cab once, then went back to their usual options.
The bet
Run the partner category like a product with its own lifecycle.
Pain point
Airport cabs were a new kind of service for MyGate. Residents trusted the app for visitor approvals. Travel was new territory.
Getting a first ride was one problem. Getting a second was a bigger one: cab service retention sat at 19%, and airport return pickups at 21%.
Every one-way ride was acquisition cost spent once. Growth depended on making the second ride feel like the obvious next step.
A partner listing gets one ride. A lifecycle gets the next one.

- 02
Ran lifecycle CRM on cab users.
Journeys across the trip lifecycle, built to bring riders back for the next trip and the ride home.
- 03
Grew partner categories as one portfolio.
Airport Cabs, Home Services and Diagnostics were run as growth lines, measured on retention and GMV.
